This is a new blog from the other side of the stage.
Or what I would say, the right side ;-)
I will document and show you the technical solutions and more fun that might happen on the road.
First of all, let me introduce myself.
I take care of the instruments on stage aka Backline Tech, with Swedish pop sensation Roxette.
The Backline is all musical gear we bring with us on tour, or rent at the local backline rental company.
We are two backline techs with Roxette and we have split our work about 50/50 with all gear.
I do the Drums for Pelle Alsing, Bass for Magnus and Guitars for Per Gessle.
After a very long and close collaboration with YAMAHA DRUMS they asked me if it was possible to do this.
And since I found it a good idea, here we are!
Pelle Alsing is a long time Yamaha endorser, playing the custom color 9000 Recording since the very first (solo) Roxette tour with Look Sharp 1988.
My tought is to tell you bit by bit during the tour what we use and how it works.
And what fun people and events may pass our way.
So I will not tell you all about everything in one post, even if I'd like to.
Need to save some for these 6 months we will rock, sorry, pop the world.
